Turning everyday manual work into sustainable systems

Four projects that began with real daily problems and connected Notion with familiar services to solve them.

01Health Data Sync

Challenge: I wanted to collect smartphone step data in a Notion health dashboard and visualize inactivity without relying on daily manual entry.
Solution: I built an Android app that automatically syncs steps, blood pressure, weight, and other data between Notion and Health Connect, which brings health data together on Android.
Outcome: Records accumulate without repeated user action, making activity trends visible and easier to act on.
Design: I designed a simple screen that makes it easy to choose which way to send data and which types of data to include.

02Ledger Reconciliation

Challenge: Missed entries and similar omissions sometimes caused the balance in my household expense tracker built with Notion to differ from my actual bank and cash balances. I calculated the difference by hand each time.
Solution: I built a tool that uses salary deposits, bank balances, and cash on hand to calculate the adjustment needed to bring the recorded balance into line with the actual balance.
Outcome: Periodic reconciliation no longer requires comparing several balances and calculating the difference by hand.
Design: The form is designed for smartphones, uses only the essential fields, and supports passkeys so users can sign in without typing a password.

03Lunch Order Tracking

Challenge: Checking my child's lunch orders meant searching the inbox and mentally organizing each date, item, and status.
Solution: The tool reads order emails and records the order date, item, lunch purchase ticket number, and acceptance status in Notion.
Outcome: Opening Notion now shows accepted, ordered, and unsubmitted dates at a glance without another email search.

04Lunch Ticket Management

Matsuya Ticket Importer

Challenge: Matsuya, one of my child's lunch providers, requires tickets to be purchased in advance and a ticket number to be supplied with each order. I previously read the numbers from the tickets and copied them into Notion by hand.
Solution: I built an app that reads the ticket type, number, and expiration date from images or PDFs and records them in Notion. The extracted details can be reviewed and corrected before registration.
Outcome: Less manual entry makes it easier to track the remaining tickets and see which ticket was used to buy each lunch in Notion.

My very first project built with AI.

Import e-commerce order data to see product images fly across a map from the store's region to the buyer's prefectural capital in Japan or a representative location in their country or region overseas. The animation shows how orders reach different places.
